Miles of white sandy beaches, boardwalks and salt water taffy. Seaside is off Coast Highway 101, 1.5 hours from Portland. Check out the National Wild and Scenic Tillamook Head Trail from Seaside to Cannon Beach.
The peaks, glaciers and rainforests of Olympic National Park are well worth the visit. The main visitor center is just outside the park in Port Angeles.
