Argentina
Argentina is a country of Gauchos, Mate, Asado, Tango, Pampas, and Dulce de leche. Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is the most European city in South America. The people are friendly, full of happiness, and the weather is mostly pleasant all the year. It is said to be the Paris of the Americas.
Brazil
When someone hears the word Brazil, one thinks of the great Amazon forest, fantastic beaches, great soccer players, and Carnival time. There is nothing in the whole wide world like Carnival in Rio. Brasilia, the capital city of the country, is known by its great architecture.
Chile
In the world's longest country -north to south, nature runs in its most dramatic forms - enormous glaciers, craggy granite spires, and towering volcanic cones that dominate the landscape. Torres del Paine National Park is widely held to be the finest park in the Americas.
Costa Rica
In recent years, Costa Rica has nearly become synonomous with the term "ecotourism." Costa Rica is exceptionally one of the most beautiful places on earth to vacation in. Glide through a rainforest canopy in a floating gondola, go horseback riding on the beach, or soak yourself in waters heated by an active volcano.
Ecuador
Ecuador arguably has the most intensely varied landscape in South America. You get it all here: the enormous Andes, the exotic Amazon, Pacific beaches, and of course the naturalist's paradise of the Galapagos Islands.
Venezuela
As much a Caribbean country as it is a South American anchor, Venezuela is unique. At night, the capital of Caracas comes to life with the rhythms of the Caribbean. The nation also has a few geographical superlatives, including the world's highest waterfall and South America's biggest lake.
