ACM Andean Card of Migration - (TAM Tarjeta Andina de Migración) - has the purpose of facilitate the transit of people inside the Andean Community of Nations.

Banks - National currency is the Nuevo sol. There are automatic cashiers (ATMs) located in many places at the airport. These accept the main credit cards (VISA, Master Card, American Express, Electron, Maestro, Cirrus, etc.), also in national currency as American dollars. The Banco Interbank, is the one in charge of charging the tax for leaving the airport TUUA (Airport Fee) and currency exchange as well.

PERÚ PLAZA Excellent selection of domestic and international products at the best prices. DUTY FREE The ideal place to make tax-free purchases, before or after traveling. Shoppers will find a wide selection of perfumes, toys, liquors, cigarettes, alpaca clothing, leather, gold and silver jewelry at the best prices.

Medical Service in Emergency Emergency medical services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the following organizations:

Sanidad Aérea (Air Health): An organization under the Ministry of Health, which provides free medical services to passengers. It is located in the domestic arrivals area, on the first level. Clave Médica: Medical services with ambulances for emergency transportation.

Further information is available at the Customer Care counters located in the international arrivals area on the first level, and also at Peru Plaza, on the second level. Servicios para personas discapacitadas  The airport premises are designed to provide the necessary facilities to all users, as established in the National Building Standards – Architectural Adaptation for People with Disabilities, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Adaptations are found in elevators, phone booths, parking lots, restrooms, access ramps, etc.

If wheelchairs are required, passengers must request them at their airline’s counter. Customer Care personnel are trained to provide customized services to all passengers and others who need assistance.

A: The following taxi service companies are registered at the airport: Taxi CMV , Taxi Mitsui Remise, Green Taxi Lima Airport Partners, a private operator of the Jorge Chavez International Airport, does not guarantee the safety of taking other taxi services. For their own safety, passengers should take reliable transportation services. Ask for information at the Customer Care counters inside the airport. Customer Care counters are located in the international and domestic arrivals area, before the terminal exits, to assist passengers with transportation choices.

Q: I arrived from Madrid yesterday but one of my suitcases did not arrive with my flight. What should I do?

A: Upon arrival of the next flight from your destination, go to your airline counter, contact airline personnel, and they will direct you to the Customs room to pick up your baggage.

A: Airline offices are located on the second level. You must contact airline personnel by phone before going to the appropriate airline office. There are free telephones in the Customer Care counter located on the first level.

A: You should confirm your airline reservation by calling your airline’s reservation office number or by going directly to the main office of your airline.

Q: My international flight departs at 8:00. What time should I get to the airport?

A: To board an international flight, you should arrive at the airline counter three hours before the departure time of your flight. In this case, you should be at the airport at 5:00
